Bangladesh enters space age with Bangabandhu-1

Beginning of the first commercial satellite Bangabandhu-1, the beginning of the Bangladesh Space Age of 16 million people started.


During the Bangladesh time on Friday at 2:14 pm, a new version of Flexcon-9 rocket of SpaceX left with the Bangabandhu satellite from the launch pad of the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, on the Geostationary Transfer Orbit.

State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak told bdnews24.com, "Everything is fine due to the Bangabandhu satellite has successfully started the journey towards Kaushal."

This dream of Bangladesh began in the Kennedy Space Center's '39-'launch complex, from which the US Apollo-11 spacecraft reached the moon in 1969.

Bangabandhu satellite on the red-green flag color design of Bangladesh is written in English and Bangladesh Bangabandhu 1. There is also a monogram of the government of Bangladesh.
